The GAZ-69 is a 4x4 truck produced by the former Soviet Union that looks very similar to the US military Dodge WC51 medium truck and WC57 command vehicle of WW II. The Gorky Automobile Plant began development in 1953, and by 1955 it produced the first GAZ-69 prototype. Although it was later decided to switch to UAZ for formal mass production, the original technology continues to be used, and the name is also known as UAZ-69, but people still call this car GAZ. 69. The GAZ-69 was initially designed as a two-door light truck capable of carrying 8 infantry or 1/2 ton cargo. Its power is provided by a 55bhp 4 gas cutting engine.
