The LAP-7 Multi-Rocket Launcher is a type of weapon manufactured by the Soviet Union and used on the battlefields of WW II. Multi-rocket launchers like this fire at a target area faster than conventional artillery, but with lower accuracy and require more time to refill. They are more vulnerable compared to artillery but are cheaper, easier to manufacture and can be used in any context. WW II LAP-7s, the first mass-produced self-propelled artillery from the Soviet Union, were mounted on conventional trucks. This mobility gave the LAP-7 and other self-propelled artillery another advantage: being able to strike and then move before being detected and attacked with another weapon as a countermeasure.
