Pkw.Kfz12 is a medium-sized off-road vehicle produced by German Horch. It was widely used in the German army as a transport vehicle for non-commissioned officers/soldiers during WW II. This car was produced by several companies from 1937 to 1943, including Horch, Auto Union and Opel. The PKW KFZ12 is a 6-seater car, powered by a V-8 Horch 3.5-liter gasoline engine with 79 horsepower. It can carry a weight of 3 tons and a cruising range of 400 kilometers. Non-commissioned officers often have a map table in the rear passenger compartment; ordinary soldiers’ transport vehicles do not have this equipment. The towing hook is a standard device, so it can tow a 700 kg trailer or small artillery. The 2.8 cm Schwere Panzerbüchse 41 was developed based on the 20mm Solothurn S.18/100 anti-tank gun. Since the warhead used in this gun is sandwiched with soft metal, the warhead can be gradually narrowed from 28 mm to 20 mm when fired. The advantage of the tapering is that it produces a very high muzzle velocity, which can increase the armor penetration ability by about 300% compared with the original 20 mm anti-tank gun. The s.Pz.B.41 was discontinued in 1943, and the surviving s.Pz.B.41 anti-tank gun was handed over to the Italian forces still fighting in North Africa. Since the bracket of sPzB41 itself has no spring suspension, it is not suitable for long-distance transportation. Therefore, the modified Sd.Ah.32 ammunition trailer adds two loading ramps and a large storage ammunition box, which is convenient for long-distance transportation.
