sWS is mainly designed as a low-cost half-tracked vehicle to tow artillery. The Bushin-NAG Engineering Company designed the car in accordance with Hitler's orders issued on May 7, 1942. This is a 5-ton half-track vehicle used to replace the early production of expensive Sd.Kfz6 5t and Sd.Kfz11 3t half-track vehicles. sWS has several different versions, including flatbed trucks with armored cabs. This version is used to install a 2 cm type 38 four-barrel anti-aircraft gun. The gun has a range of approximately 2,200 meters and a rate of fire of 120 rounds per minute. However, the weapons used to deal with the air power of the Allied forces between 1944 and 45 seemed a little weak. It is not clear how many of these variants have been produced, but it has been widely used in Russia and Northwestern Europe. Although it is designated as the main anti-aircraft weapon, the 2 cm four-barrel 38 anti-aircraft gun can also be used against those lightly armored vehicles.
