During WW II, the Staghound armored vehicles used by the British troops appeared in many different models such as: Hound I (using US 37mm main gun), Hound III (using a similar British Crusader tank turret) and hound air defense. Staghound III-Mainly equipped with a turret modified from the British Crusader tank but equipped with a 75mm caliber main gun. The main difference in appearance from the Crusader turret is that the one-piece hatch cover at the top is changed to a separate hatch cover to separate the commander and the gunner's exit, and the front armored defensive machine gun is eliminated.
