German Long Range Submarine Type U-IXA

Nazi Germany began to develop the U-IX series submarine with longer endurance in 1935-1936. The U-IX has 5 external torpedo storages (3 at the stern and 2 at the bow) which can store 10 additional torpedo. They may carry 44 TMA or 66 TMB mines if they carry out mine-laying missions. The defense weapon on the boat is a Utof 10.5cm gun and can carry about 110 rounds of ammunition and a 3.7cm and 2cm anti-aircraft gun each.
