The StuG III Ausf Ε began production in September 1941 during the Second WW. As the final production type of the short-barrel 75mm gun, it is widely used as the command vehicle of the battlefield assault force. Function, StuG III Ausf Ε modified the Fu16 wireless receiver, also the E type was modified to increase the two-sided protective armor. This became one of the characteristics that distinguish the E type from other types of assault guns. During the entire war, a total of 284 assault gun StuG III Ausf Ε were produced, most of which were used as battlefield command vehicles. At the end of the war, a small number of StuG III Ausf Ε were used as tanks to block the enemy.
