The H39 light cavalry tank made by the French Horges factory is the final model of the H series tank of the same factory. Its size is slightly larger than the H35, and its weight has increased to 12 tons. The artillery is replaced with a long-tube SA-1938 37 mm Artillery. At the beginning of the Second WW, more than 800 H39s were in service in the first-line troops. After the German army occupied France, due to its rapid expansion, it required a large amount of equipment for the troops to use, so it had to draw materials from the occupying countries, so many The H series tanks were incorporated into the German army, but the German army had some opinions on the French design of the original H39, and made other modifications to suit its own use, such as installing radios and new-style command towers. In order to increase firepower, some H39 tanks stationed in the Normandy area of France, the German army installed two 28cm wk Spr. grenade launchers on each side of the tank to deal with the Allied forces.
