The British A34 "Comet" is a later British tank that participated WW II. Although the A34 "Comet" is a new tank design and can still be considered as a "Cromwell" tank. It is equipped with an improved 17 kg (77 mm) Mk.2 cannon and its newly designed wheels have excellent cross-country capabilities. The overall performance is better than that of the British tanks of the time and could compete with the German "Tiger" and "Panther". Due to his belated participation in the war, it was only able to take part in the later battles of the war. After the war, the A34 "Comet" was in service during the Cold War and was among the British troops stationed in West Berlin. Later, it followed the British army to take part in wars in North Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, as well as defending the former British colony of Hong Kong. So far, there is only one tank of this type on display at the Hai Defense Museum in Hong Kong.
