Skoda LT Vz35 is a light tank developed by the Czech army in the mid-1930s. In 1934, two prototypes of the tank were produced by Skoda and CKD. Both prototypes were tested in mid-1935. In the end, the Skoda factory's design won the competition, and the winning models were jointly produced by the two companies in 1936. The Skoda LT Vz35 weighs 10.5 tons and has 3 crew members. The armor is 25mm thick, and the main gun is a 37mm and a 7.92mm coaxial machine gun. Until the end of 1936, a total of 298 such tanks were produced for use by the Czech army. In addition, 136 units of this tank were also exported to Romania, Afghanistan, Bulgaria and other countries. After the German army occupied Czechoslovakia in March 1938, the Skoda LT Vz35 light tank was renamed the Pz.Kpfw.35 (Τ) tank and then put into service in the german army. This tank was widely used in combat operations against Poland, France and Russia. This tank was decommissioned in early 1942, and 26 of them were sold to Romania. Some of the tanks were converted into towing vehicles and delivery vehicles.
