As a result of absorbing practical experience in combat operations, in 1943 Nazi Germany developed a new type of torpedo boat based on the S-38b. The appearance of the new S-100 front-end armored bulletproof cabin has been modified. Its main weapon is a 53.3cm torpedo tube on each side of the bow. The defense equipment is a 2cm C/38 cannon at the bow and two central part of the ship. In addition, there is a 3.7cm M42 anti-aircraft gun on the rear deck. After WW II, these S-100 torpedo boats were still used by some European countries until the early 1950s.
